Hello BGE family!!
 
     We had a great BGE author visit (on April 18, 2013) with one of my favorites: Mr. Kenn Nesbitt!  He has written many fun poems and he often uses a school theme.  I have used his poems in my word work activities.  We thought it would be fun to decorate our school and post some of his poems in our hallways!  If you have not been out at BGE to see these it is a must do!  We also took some photos of a few staff members and blew them up as big posters.  We had a great welcoming convocation the morning he arrived.   Mr. Nesbitt was terrific and I think he was excited to be there as we were to have him!  If you are a BGE parent, grandparent, or caring adult ask your BGE student about this wonderful visit!  You also might want to check out his website at http://www.poetry4kids.com/  We have posted a few pictures and may be adding more later!  We all enjoyed this visit!  Thanks Kenn!   Enjoy the pictures!!
