Students become river WRATS

Teachers at Battle Ground Elementary School used the Wabash River as their classroom to help bring science lessons to life. Fifth-grade students rowed from Mascouten Park in West Lafayette to Fort Ouiatenon in large inflatable rafts as their adult leaders pointed out different landmarks, birds, drainage pipes and more.

Learn more about the Battle Ground River WRATS in this story from Journal and Courier reporter Meghan Holden who rowed with our students August 30.
